  4. What should I pack for my dog’s stay?

    • Bring extra food, medications in original bottles, and optional toys or bedding. We provide bowls, so no need to pack those.

  5. Why does my dog smell different after boarding?

    • While our facility is kept clean, your dog’s natural scent may be more noticeable after being around other pets. We offer “go-home baths” for a fresh return.

  6. What is the daily schedule like for dogs at Pawsome Inn?

    • Dogs enjoy a mix of outdoor play, rest, and personalized care throughout the day, tailored to their needs.

    • This is normal “YAY, YOU’RE BACK!” energy. It usually settles after the first night at home.

  3. Why is my dog super thirsty after boarding?

    • Excitement and the car ride home can make your dog pant and drink more water. Rest assured, they had unlimited access to fresh water during their stay.

  4. Why is my dog eating more now that they’re home?

    • Some dogs eat less in a new environment. Once home, their appetite returns, and they may eat more to make up for it.

  5. Why is my dog so tired after boarding?

    • Boarding is like a fun vacation camp with lots of playtime and new experiences. It’s normal for dogs to need extra rest afterward.

  6. Why does my dog sound hoarse after boarding?

    • Some dogs bark more while boarding, which can lead to temporary hoarseness. It’s nothing to worry about and should resolve soon.

    Please bring extra food for your pup! You're welcome to pre-portion it or simply bring the entire container—whatever’s easiest for you.

  • Medication

    All medications must be in their original prescription bottles, please.

  • Toys & Bedding

    Feel free to pack your pet’s favorite toys or bedding, but no worries if you leave them at home—we have plenty to share! You can also upgrade to a cozy cot for just $5 for the entire stay.
